Hand-made worlds
Start with one of ours.

The Moonlit Cottage
A small floating cottage under a patient moon. Somebody left the lamp unlit, the drawers unchecked and the door on the far islet locked.
2 rooms · 19 things to touch

The Tiny Workshop
A bench of unfinished ideas, a gear box that drops things, and a radio tuned to somewhere else.
1 room · 12 things to touch
How it works
The image is the invitation. The world is the experience.
01
Pick an image
Choose something from the Dream Gallery, upload your own, or describe a place in a sentence.
02
It's interpreted
Dream Walk reads colours, light and mood (on your device by default) and shows you exactly what it understood. It's an interpretation, not a reconstruction.
03
A world is built
One of 6 templates (Cozy Cottage, Enchanted Garden, Haunted Room, Floating Island, Moonlit Observatory, Tiny Workshop) is filled with objects you can open, pick, switch and inspect.
Credits
Dream Walk's engine, navigation and worlds were written for Dream Meridian. Its illustrated look was informed by studying Anatomy by Ryan (MIT) for banded face shading, Colorfigures and ISO-GLOW by April Zhu, and iso-figure by Tolga Cohce (MIT) for ink outlines and hinge timing, and the CD Case by Ann Nguyen (@ann_nnng, TypingMind) for hinged motion and thin glass. Techniques were re-implemented; no source code was copied.
